To support its ongoing growth and strengthen its team, our client is currently seeking a motivated and proactive Production Supervisor who is ready to take on hands-on challenges at the heart of their manufacturing operations. As a key player in the production chain, you will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing production activities to ensure timely and efficient delivery of orders to clients.

Tasks

  • Planning and developing production schedules and monitoring progress to meet delivery deadlines and sales objectives.
  • Identifying priorities and making quick decisions to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Optimizing production processes and ensuring strict adherence to procedures.
  • Working closely with the estimating team to provide realistic delivery timelines.
  • Analyzing delays or issues and implementing corrective actions.
  • Supervising and supporting your production team on a daily basis.
  • Managing purchases related to production (safety equipment, maintenance parts, etc.).
  • Performing any other related tasks as required.

Job requirements

  • Degree in production management, industrial engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial planning environment.
  • Proficiency in production planning tools and ERP systems.
  • Functional English, both spoken and written (may be required to communicate with English-speaking clients or suppliers about 10% of the time).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience in metal manufacturing is considered an asset.
