Halfway between dispatch and customer service, you use your strong organizational skills and professionalism to chart the full success of your department. You will coordinate routes, orders and negotiations to ensure the best service with suppliers and customers. A leader in the sale and distribution of the most environmentally friendly alternative to fuel, our client offers a wide variety of items from different sectors. Strict standards dictate the quality of our client’s product, but also the quality of their customer service. Tasks

  • Dispatch and coordination: On the front line, you will coordinate the maintenance and installation schedule following the receipt of service requests. You will coordinate routes and activities according to the established schedule and transmit them to the technicians in addition to planning the annual maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Purchasing, warehouse and inventory: You maintain a professional relationship with the various suppliers involved. This allows you to establish and negotiate the various deals in addition to ensuring close follow-ups on orders, possible product shortages and invoice payments. Additionally, you are available to receive orders and take the annual physical inventory.
  • Client satisfaction: You respond to and follow up on customer needs through several channels: by phone and in person. In this sense, you give them advice on the best products and services to meet their needs as well as knowing their terms and conditions and the manufacturer’s warranties.
  • Human resources management: In collaboration with the Branch Manager, you will participate in the onboarding, integration and well-being of the employees. You will be an important point of contact to answer their questions and promote health and safety standards in the workplace.
  • For the smooth running of the department, you take part in any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • You have between 2 and 4 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You are fluent in spoken and written French, an intermediate level of English is required.
  • You have already held a management position for a small or medium-sized team.
  • You have experience in the propane or HVAC industry.
  • Any experience and certification in gas appliance technology is considered a strong asset.
