Our partner, a Quebec engineering firm dedicated to excellence at all levels, is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for its Chambly branch. In this role, you will be a key player in the company's ongoing development. The firm primarily operates in the agri-food, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical sectors, focusing on innovation and continuous improvement of its products and services, while consistently providing effective solutions to its clients.
Tasks
Identify business opportunities with new and existing clients.
Prospect new clients and promote products and services.
Identify and respond to client needs.
Develop and maintain business relationships with various distributors/suppliers.
Cultivate profitable relationships with established clients.
Advise clients on suitable products for their applications.
Receive, draft, and present quotation requests to clients.
Answer client questions and provide technical assistance as needed.
Verify client order information and generate purchase orders in the computer system.
Ensure post-sales follow-up with clients.
Manage inventory.
Cross-sell and propose complementary products.
Participate in internal training programs or those offered by suppliers.
Provide support to other representatives.
Perform any other tasks required by the position.
