Our client, that specializes in the manufacturing of zippers, is looking for an organized and meticulous person to fill the position of Payroll/HR Technician for its factory located in Ville Saint-Laurent. This person will be in charge of improving and developing the various training programs as well as handling the complete payroll cycle for more than 140 employees.
Tasks
Validate employees' work hours as well as leaves, vacations and absences.
Participate in the payroll process and produce T4's for income tax reporting.
Update employee files when necessary.
Identify new strategies and participate in the training program restructuring committee.
Write plans to detail training (Bill 90).
Handle the drafting of employment contracts.
Assist the HR Director with various special projects.
Act as a resource person for employees when they have questions about payroll or benefits.
Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements
2 years of experience in payroll.
DEC or DEP in accounting or administration.
Certificate in human resources or industrial relations (An asset).
Advanced knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel).
Bilingualism, both written and spoken (French and English).
