Are you a hands-on person who knows how to bring people together and lead by example? Join a company specializing in paper products distribution in their warehouse, where team spirit and efficiency are at the heart of operations. As a warehouse supervisor, you will be like a captain on the field: guiding your team on the front line, leading by example, and helping everyone perform at their best. You will spend most of your time working alongside your team while managing a small structure consisting of a team leader, a supervisor, and a team of 30 people. This is a contract position until June 30, 2025, offered on the evening shift.

Tasks

  • Manage on-site personnel, including task organization, supervision, and performance monitoring.
  • Support daily operations by optimizing workflow and meeting operational needs.
  • Ensure workplace health and safety management (WHS), including regular inspections and incident prevention.
  • Communicate and collaborate with various departments (logistics, transport, human resources) to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and analyze performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Plan and organize resources (personnel, equipment) to meet production and quality requirements.
  • Ensure ongoing training and skill development for team members.
  • Participate in inventory management, including inventory tracking and restocking.
  • Perform all other related duties to support warehouse objectives.

Job requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in personnel management within a distribution center.
  • Functional knowledge of the English language.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Managerial degree (an asset).
