Tasks
Perform welding in compliance with CSA standards W47.1/W59 and W47.2/W59.2 under the supervision of the team leader.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Assemble and adjust simple or highly precise parts.
Use various welding processes (MIG, TIG, arc) in all positions.
Check parts for compliance with blueprints and specifications.
Measure precisely using metric and imperial systems (tape measure, caliper).
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Carry out other production-related tasks in the workshop.

Job requirements
DEP in welding and fitting or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 months of experience welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Proficiency in GTAW (TIG) and at least two semi-automatic processes (GMAW, FCAW, or MCAW).
Skills in blueprint reading and metrology.
Basic knowledge of metallurgy and manufacturing processes.
Hands-on experience with TIG and MIG welding.
Familiarity with CSA standards W47.1/W59, W47.2/W59.2, AWS D17.1 (NADCAP, ISO 9001, AS9100 certifications are assets).
Valid CWB card (asset).
