Tasks
Perform welding tasks under the supervision of the welding team lead, ensuring compliance with CSA W47.1/W59 and W47.2/W59.2 standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Operate various welding processes (MIG, TIG, stick) in all positions.
Assemble simple parts.
Execute welds on high-precision components.
Measure using both imperial and metric systems (tape measure, caliper).
Inspect parts to ensure conformity with plans and specifications.
Carry out all other production-related tasks in the workshop.

Job requirements
Welding diploma (DEP) or equivalent experience required.
At least 3 month of welding experience on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Proficient in GTAW (TIG) process and at least two semi-automatic processes (GMAW, FCAW, or MCAW).
Skills in blueprint reading and dimensional measurement.
Basic knowledge of metallurgy and manufacturing processes.
Hands-on experience with TIG and MIG welding.
Familiarity with CSA W47.1/W59, W47.2/W59.2, AWS D17.1 standards; NADCAP, ISO9001, AS9100 certifications are an asset.
Valid CWB certification is a plus.
