The primary goal of the Yard Supervisor is the management and coordination of yard workers' activities, overseeing the cleaning and housekeeping of the plant, handling the unloading and management of raw materials and fuels, as well as supervising the equipment related to alternative fuels, including tire and rubber injection processes.
Tasks
Guarantees that all contracts and project sites meet safety policy standards to protect the safety of our employees.
Coordinating, planning, and scheduling the activities of the team and yard contractor in collaboration with the production, mechanical, electrical, and new works departments, both during regular operations and major turnarounds.
Work closely with the planner to develop and update detailed inspection plans that ensure optimal equipment performance.
Identify and help resolve persistent spill areas within the plant.
Benchmark clean-up activities and recommend improvements in safety, effectiveness, and cost through various methods and approaches.
Provide reports to the Maintenance and Production Managers, and offer feedback to the hourly team on tasks, including material usage, tools, man hours, and skills required.
Review equipment history files to ensure accurate documentation of work order completions, as applicable.
Perform all other tasks required by the position.

Job requirements
Technical degree in mechanics or vocational training + 5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment.
Knowledge of cement technology and manuifacturing process.
Proficiency in French (written and spoken).
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Process Explorer (IP21).
3-5 years of supervisory experience in cement manufacturing or equivalent industry will be considered an asset.
