We are looking for two dynamic and committed co-directors for our client, a national consumer advocacy organization. These key positions will play an essential role in supporting the team and members, as well as developing the organization's strategic vision. Tasks

  • Manage all communications (media, public relations, partners and funders).
  • Act as spokesperson with the media and other communication sources.
  • Develop new partnerships and oversee business strategy.
  • Strategic planning for corporate image.
  • Plead cases on request and ensure rigorous follow-up.
  • Follow up on legal obligations (accounting).
  • Ensure quality control/research content.
  • Develop funding opportunities (special projects).
  • Support analysts (organizations/governments and all other groups).
  • Collaborate on special projects.
  • Supervise the drafting and follow-up of CAs.
  • Perform all other tasks related to the position.
  • Co-management of general administration:
  • Ensure sound management of human resources and finances.
  • Increase and diversify funding sources.
  • Ensure that the organization's activities are carried out at the operational level.
  • Manage, mobilize and support a multidisciplinary team in close collaboration with the co-director, who will play a greater role in developing communications with partners and the media.
  • Provide governance for the Board and Executive Committee.
  • Manage organizational priorities.
  • Perform all other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law or business administration or other discipline related to the position.
  • Experience working or being involved in a community or advocacy organization.
  • More than five years of experience in the field of jurisprudence, research or relevant experience as a manager or middle manager will be considered.
  • Bilingual, French and English - oral and written.
