Tasks

  • Supervise and coordinate accounting activities: accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll.
  • Ensure the maintenance of accounting records and adherence to deadlines.
  • Oversee the month-end and year-end financial processes.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Manage cash flow and bank accounts.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of the annual budget, analyze variances, and propose corrective measures.
  • Provide accurate financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations (government reports, audits, insurance, etc.).
  • Coordinate the annual external audit and prepare the required documentation.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • CPA designation.
  • 5 years of experience in accounting, including at least 3 years in personnel management.
  • Experience in the construction sector (a major asset).
  • Proficiency in French (essential) and intermediate level of English to effectively communicate with English-speaking clients 30% of the time.
