Our client, the Société de transport de l'Outaouais (STO), has exclusively assigned Bedard Resources to recruit an experienced and dedicated individual to fill the role of Director - Surface Infrastructure.
In this context, the STO has established a project office with the aim of successfully completing all activities associated with this phase (pre-project studies, technical and geomatic analyses, functional and technical program development, environmental impact and urban integration studies, citizen engagement activities, etc.). The STO is seeking talented specialists in various fields of expertise to join the existing team and lead, supervise, carry out studies, and provide the assistance required for the completion of the project.

Tasks
Planning, organizing, leading, and monitoring all activities related to the management of studies, design, and project execution.
Completing assignments given to you.
Managing a team of consultants, managers, and other employees.
Actively participating in the project steering process, in close collaboration with the Project Office Director.
Reengineering your department’s business processes.
Participating in internal or external committees, and establishing business relationships with Project Office partners.
Performing any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering combined with ten years of experience in urban infrastructure design and the management of multidisciplinary teams.
Any combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered.
Good understanding of federal and provincial laws applicable to this field.
Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and specialized software related to this sector.
Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables and complex formulas).
Familiarity with PMBOK principles and other recognized project management methodologies.
Strong spoken and written French skills, and a good English skills (some project partners and suppliers are English-speaking).
