Tasks

  • Operational Leadership
  • Provide overall oversight of manufacturing operations, supply chain, and quality.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, lean projects, and the integration of new technologies to optimize operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Maintain high standards in health and safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Strategic and Commercial Leadership
  • Develop and implement a long-term, sustainable growth strategy.
  • Lead sales, marketing, and business development teams to support commercial execution.
  • Identify and develop new markets, business opportunities, complementary product lines, and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure the availability of required resources to sustain a strong pace of innovation and product development.
  • Foster close collaboration among business units to deliver a seamless and cohesive customer experience.
  • Financial Management
  • Assume full responsibility for financial results (P&L), including budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
  • Monitor and analyze performance indicators to ensure profitable growth, strong margins, and effective working capital management.

  • Build, coach, and mobilize a high-performing leadership team, supported by clear objectives and structured accountability.

Job requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial manufacturing.
  • Proven experience as a General Manager, President, Chief Operating Officer, or Division Head with full P&L responsibility.
  • Experience in export sales, distribution network development, and compliance with international standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Full professional proficiency in French, both spoken and written.
  • Advanced proficiency in English due to regular communication with the U.S.-based head office (approximately 10% of the time).
  • Exposure to industrial services is considered an asset.
