A world pioneer in mining and metals, they want to add an experienced coach to the role of Senior Continuous Improvement Consultant. Recognized for their human qualities, our client is looking for a consultant who will in turn promote the same qualities to their teams while inspiring innovation and progress.   • Managing continuous improvement projects.
  • Working with colleagues to achieve goals or issues and expectations are high.
  • Having a primary role in communications with field and customer teams.
  • Providing support and methodological coaching to internal teams in charge of continuous improvement projects (Black Belts, Green Belts, and others).
  • Building on active cooperation with Lean Manufacturing experts for transformation and improvement projects.
  • Developing continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Participating in any other related tasks for smooth operations.

Job requirements

  • Having a minimum of 10 years of solid experience in production, mechanical or maintenance engineering.
  • Proficiency in English as a professional language.
  • Being comfortable working in noisy environments.
  • Being available to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
  • An asset to have held a Line Manager position.
  • Being a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs, an asset.
