Daytime, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week, available 1 week out of 4 for emergencies 24/7 (premium and paid hours)
The Computer Technician will provide excellent customer service and computer support to company users and will ensure the maintenance and support of the computer equipment.
Tasks
Create and manage user accounts (Windows, Unix, telephony).
Deploy and maintain the updates of various products.
Participate and provide on-site support for network, server and/or workstation projects.
Provide remote and on-site support to users.
Provide after-hours support as needed.
Manage installations, deployments, configuration and upgrades of computer equipment and software.
Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot and repair computer systems and equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, access points, etc.).
Promote and participate in the implementation of computer security best practices.
Participate in network, server and/or workstation projects.
Document all activities according to established procedures.
Maintain inventory of computer equipment.
Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements
Have a degree in computer science and 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
Very strong knowledge of desktop and laptop computers, printer drivers and basic application support.
Knowledge of standard company operating systems and software.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite and Microsoft Active Directory.
Very good knowledge of TCP/IP protocol.
Ability to do heavy lifting and physical effort if needed.
Bilingual (French-English).
MCSA or VCP certification will be considered an asset.
Knowledge of VoIP and Octopus will be considered an asset.
