In your role as Computer Technician, you will be required to respond to various technical support requests from users at various service points (stores, warehouses, offices). Our client, a large company that has been working in the construction materials industry for several years, is looking for a Level 2 Computer Technician at their head office in Quebec City.   • Intervene with users for software and hardware incidents at the various service points.
  • Manage level 2 support tickets and handle escalation as needed.
  • Perform the deployment of updates on computers.
  • Ensure the maintenance of the computer and telephone system
  • Write technical procedures while introducing users to the equipment and computer tools.
  • Work in collaboration with the system administrators during IT projects.
  • Perform any other tasks related to the position.

Job requirements

  • You have a DEP, DEC or an AEC in computer science.
  • You have significant experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, infrastructures and IT tools (Windows, Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Android/Apple mobile devices, PC software and others).
  • Able to travel to various service locations when necessary.
