Our client in Montreal is seeking an experienced assembler to join their team and work on high-quality projects. You will be responsible for carefully assembling various components with accuracy, adhering to technical drawings and established standards.

Tasks
Read and interpret production plans and instructions.
Prepare components and tools needed for assembly.
Assemble parts and components according to specifications and plans.
Ensure all assembled parts meet quality standards and technical specifications.
Use manual and power tools to fasten, adjust, and secure parts.
Make minor adjustments to ensure proper alignment and conformity of assemblies.
Identify and correct assembly defects or errors.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
Perform other related tasks as needed for production.

Job requirements
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including schematics, cross-sections, and manufacturing details.
Knowledge of symbols used in plans to identify materials, processes, and finishes.
Ability to understand bending instructions, including angles, lengths, and bending sequences.
Aptitude to verify that the produced parts match exactly the specifications outlined in the plans.
Desired profile
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an assembler or in a similar role.
Ability to follow assembly instructions, including alignment, dimensions, and sequences.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and cross-sections.
Skill in identifying and correcting assembly defects or errors.
Proficiency with manual and power tools necessary for assembly.
Knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety procedures.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and communicate clearly.
