As a technical expert in building mechanics, the selected candidate will play a key role within a team dedicated to the modernization of existing buildings and the construction of new ones. You will join a dynamic construction department, alongside a Process Systems Engineer, project managers and technicians specializing in construction.
Tasks
Clarifying requirements and developing technical documentation for all infrastructure projects under your supervision.
Designing, analyzing, and planning various aspects of construction, including plan development, structure design, air conditioning, heating and lighting system studies, and choosing materials.
Organizing and supervising the design, installation, and regulation of building mechanical systems within construction projects.
Developing installation plans and specifications based on architectural plans of the building, while managing the technical aspects of installation work, such as issuing calls for tenders, evaluating bids, granting contracts and supervising work.
Ensuring compliance of systems with established construction and safety standards.
Performing necessary calculations to set the various HVAC systems, and technical feasibility studies to support infrastructure project development.
Performing any other essential tasks for project success.

Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Building Engineering.
Member of the OIQ (Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec).
At least five years’ experience in a similar position.
Good knowledge of HVAC systems.
Mastery of the French language both orally and in writing.
