Tasks

  • Financial Reporting
  • Prepare and present complete, accurate, and timely financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and IFRS standards.
  • Lead the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and responding effectively to any recommendations.
  • Monitor the company’s financial performance, including variance analysis and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Budgeting and Financial Forecasting
  • Develop and manage the annual budget in collaboration with department heads to ensure alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Create and update financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Analyze budget variances and provide actionable recommendations to management for financial adjustments as needed.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance
  • Design, implement, and oversee a robust internal control framework to protect the company’s assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements while contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes.
  • Perform any other related tasks as required.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA designation (or equivalent) required – candidates in the process of obtaining certification will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in a public accounting firm or within a structured corporate environment is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in managing financial teams and complex operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced financial tools.
