Tasks

• Ensuring that equipment is in optimal operational condition.
• Performing installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
• Conducting pre-commissioning checks for systems and equipment.
• Carrying out necessary tests on the test bench, identifying any anomalies that arise.
• Studying, diagnosing, and identifying complex malfunctions and failures of all types of equipment.
• Quickly implementing corrective measures on-site or remotely.
• Providing customer support, both within and outside of Canada, by installing and maintaining equipment, performing preventive maintenance, etc. (availability to travel as needed by the company is required).
• Being able to provide training on systems and processes in both English and French.
• Demonstrating proactivity in problem-solving, thereby offering quality customer service.
• Performing all other related duties required by the position.

Job requirements

• DVS in Electromechanics (mandatory).
• 5 to 7 years of experience as an Electromechanic (mandatory).
• Bilingualism (mandatory).
• Up-to-date passport for international travel (mandatory).
• Possession of a driver's license.
• Health and safety card for construction sites.
• Experience with variable speed drive controllers – Danfoss – (an asset).
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers – Phoenix Contact – (an asset).
• C License (an asset).
