Tasks

  • Collaborating with the Regional Director of Operations to assess recruitment needs.
  • Participating in the recruitment process.
  • Supporting warehouse managers in personnel management and labour relations.
  • Supporting warehouse managers by contributing to annual evaluations.
  • Assisting in the establishment of occupational health and safety (OHS) policies with the OHS Coordinator.
  • Managing documentation in case of workplace accidents.
  • Collaborating with warehouse managers to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Drafting disciplinary notices and other letters.
  • Conducting disciplinary meetings and supporting managers in this area.
  • Occasionally performing document translations into English.
  • Performing other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labour Relations, or any other related field.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience as an HR generalist.
  • Excellent level of bilingualism (French and English).
  • Strong understanding of labour standards (OHS and HR laws).
  • Being familiar with labor standards in the Maritime provinces (a good asset).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and its Office suite.
