Our client, a school service centre based in Québec City, is looking to hire a Labour Relations Coordinator to manage a small team recognized for its expertise in labour relations and human resource management. This key individual will collaborate consistently with both external and internal partners. We are looking for a strategic visionary who enjoys teamwork and possesses a positive leadership style. Tasks

  • Acting as an expert advisor in the application of collective agreements and labour laws.
  • Maintaining healthy labour relations with union partners (handling grievances, disputes).
  • Facilitating various working committees.
  • Supporting and training team members under your supervision.
  • Assisting and mentoring managers.
  • Performing any other related tasks and supporting the Assistant Director.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Law, or a relevant field.
  • At least five years’ relevant experience in labour relations.
  • Significant achievements in labour relations.
  • Knowledge of labour laws, workforce planning, personnel movements and administrative tribunals.
  • Experience as a coordinator is an asset.
