Are you an autonomous and organized leader ready to take on a new nighttime challenge? Our client is looking for a dynamic Night Manager to efficiently oversee operations outside of regular business hours! Our client is a Quebec-based leader in residential renovation, construction, and outdoor landscaping. With a network of several retail locations across Quebec and Eastern Canada, the company serves a diverse clientele of individuals, contractors, and industry professionals.

Tasks

  • Implement the store’s vision and objectives to contribute to the company’s success.
  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers by ensuring your department is always customer-ready and impeccably maintained.
  • Inspire your team to excel in sales using the tools and training provided by the company.
  • Suggest innovative ideas to boost sales and enhance the customer experience.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to ensure smooth operational coordination.
  • Train, coach, and motivate your team using the banner’s programs.
  • Actively participate in recruiting, onboarding, and developing your team.
  • Contribute to performance evaluations and support the resulting action plans.
  • Ensure a healthy and safe work environment for all.
  • Take on any other challenges related to your role, as needed by management.
  • Perform any other related duties.

Job requirements

  • College diploma (DEC) in retail management, administrative techniques, accounting, or business management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience (a combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with retail POS or inventory systems (an asset).
