Tasks

  • Define and drive the strategic vision by developing and deploying operational strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Stimulate productivity by identifying and implementing initiatives aimed at improving performance, reducing losses, and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Oversee plant operations to maximize efficiency by integrating best practices in facility management and maintenance.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement by applying lean manufacturing principles and other process optimization methodologies.
  • Mobilize and develop talent by leading an engaged and high-performing operational team.
  • Develop and control operational budgets by ensuring rigorous expense management and implementing cost-reduction measures.
  • Ensure product quality by adhering to the highest standards and implementing robust quality control processes.
  • Ensure compliance and safety in operations by adhering to current regulations and fostering a safe work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management, engineering, business administration, or a related field. MBA or graduate degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in operations management, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in improving productivity and optimizing facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Functional proficiency in English for approximately 40% of communications.
