Our client, classified as a small and medium-sized enterprise, is a well-established company operating in the technology sector, located in the Laurentians, near Saint-Jérôme. In a context of growth and structuring, the company is seeking to add a general manager (male/female) to play a central role within the organization. This person will work closely with senior management and contribute actively to strategic direction, operational optimization, and business development. Tasks

  • Reporting to senior management, the general manager (male/female) will be responsible for ensuring the proper management of operations, human resources, and administrative activities, while participating in the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic vision.
  • Manage human resources, accounting, sales, and administration
  • Manage marketing activities
  • Supervise the service department
  • Manage orders, suppliers, and deliveries
  • Manage sales, leasing, and rental contracts
  • Ensure the management and updating of pricing lists
  • Manage human resources and mobilize the team
  • Coordinate and supervise administrative work
  • Participate in the development of the strategic plan and ensure its execution
  • Continuously improve administrative policies and procedures
  • Analyze management tools and implement necessary improvements
  • Assist and advise management in financial decision-making
  • Participate in the analysis and integration of acquisition projects
  • Support management in administering IT systems
  • Represent the company at socio-economic events
  • Perform any other related tasks as required

Job requirements

  • DEC in business management or related training
  • Experience in an NGO with transferable skills or in a service company
  • Proven experience in human resource management
  • Ability to mobilize, supervise, and develop a team
  • Interest in sales development and technological environments
  • Negotiation skills for contracts
  • Ease with the implementation and use of software
  • Autonomy, organizational skills, and leadership
  • Excellent command of French (spoken and written), functional English for communication with anglophone clients (15% of the time).
